Built by a flipper.

I worked as a software engineer for years. After my last layoff, the burnout finally caught up to me, and I started buying storage auctions instead of opening another job board.

The first few units were a rush. Then the second one showed up before I'd finished the first. Then the third. Pretty quickly I had piles of stuff in totes, on shelves, in the garage, with no real system for any of it.

I tried spreadsheets. I tried notebooks. They worked for about a week, until volume picked up and the whole thing fell apart.

So I went looking for software and found pieces of it scattered across different apps — nothing built for the whole loop, from the moment you point a phone at a find to the net at the end.

I had two skills sitting on the same desk: I knew the flipper's day because I was living it, and I knew how to build software. So I built Rezell — first for me, then for anyone else tired of their spreadsheet fighting them.

That's still the test for every feature. If it doesn't help me get through the next unit faster or with more left over, it doesn't ship.
